This major event was held this year in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 14th -16th. These North American TrendVision Awards showcased some of the most talented stylists and colourists from across the continent. Over 4,000 Canadian entries applied for the award, but ultimately five finalists in each category were announced. Canadian and American hair professionals, including those from Puerto Rico gathered under one roof to represent their communities in the creative and colour categories.
The TrendVision Awards are all about celebrating and elevating hairdressing talent through a series of styling challenges that take place throughout the year, in a variety of locations. Each year, local winners come together to compete for an international title and to join their fellow professionals.
This year Salon Gaboa, hailing from Woodbridge, Ontario demonstrated phenomenal success by seeing four of their team compete in these awards finals with each of them coming away with 2 Golds, a Silver, and a Bronze

And the follow on from this found Daniel and Rob off to Portugal to represent Team Canada for ITVA 2018 (International TrendVision Awards). Both of them, with Daniel for the 2nd year in a row, are Gold winners for the North American TrendVision Awards. They headed to a creative retreat where the top TrendVision winners from no less than 43 countries, collaborated and drew from their visions and inspirations to collectively create the looks we all will see through this year and into the next.
